We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Field Technician to install, maintain, and repair FTTH (Fiber to the Home) connections for our customers. The technician will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing support to customers to ensure reliable high-speed internet and related services. Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and activate FTTH connections at customer premises. Lay and splice optical fiber cables, terminate at ONT/OLT, and test fiber links using OTDR, power meter, etc. Perform routine maintenance and repair of FTTH networks, including DP (Distribution Point), splitters, and drop cables. Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, service interruptions, and equipment faults. Ensure proper installation of routers, ONTs, and Wi-Fi devices. Maintain detailed records of installation, repair, and service activities. Coordinate with NOC (Network Operations Center) / backend team for escalated issues. Follow safety protocols and industry standards while handling fiber optic equipment. Provide technical guidance and courteous support to customers on equipment use and troubleshooting. Ensure timely response to service calls and minimize downtime.
