Role & responsibilities Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 4-6 years of professional experience in PostgreSQL database development. Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and performance tuning. Proficiency in SQL and experience with database query optimization. Experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning. Knowledge of database security practices and data protection regulations. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services. Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., PostgreSQL Certified Professional). Experience with other database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server). Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. Experience with data warehousing and big data technologies. Preferred candidate profile
