IT Hardware Technician

As an IT Hardware Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the institution by maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems, hardware devices, and basic networking components. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in setting up and installing desktops, printers, and other hardware. - Checking and ensuring the smooth functioning of computer systems and related equipment. - Reporting and troubleshooting minor hardware issues or escalating when necessary. - Performing regular hardware cleaning, maintenance, and updates. - Supporting in maintaining an inventory of IT assets. - Assisting in basic network cable setup and conducting connectivity checks. - Helping staff with issues related to system booting, monitor/display, keyboard, or printer problems. - Coordinating with vendors for hardware servicing or parts replacement. The skills required for this role are: - Basic knowledge of computer hardware and peripheral devices. - Willingness to learn and assist in troubleshooting. - Good attention to detail and responsibility. - Ability to follow instructions and maintain records.
