IT GMR Risk

As an Application Support Engineer in the Risk Monitoring and Production Support team, your primary role is to provide specialized support for incidents raised by the IT Market Risk department. The applications you will be supporting are primarily written in Java, C++, Scala, SQL, and Scripting, with additional features including Hadoop, Oracle, and Sybase databases. Key Responsibilities: - Work in a L2/3 IT functional Support capacity - Provide production support with dedicated KPIs to end-users for all application issues and respond to queries promptly - Investigate and debug logs and source code to identify bugs and issues - Effectively manage and resolve production incidents - Proactively communicate information to users regarding the progress of outstanding support - Monitor applications effectively within the established SLA for the business lines - Contribute to continuous automation and improvement of applications - Enhance user satisfaction by efficiently resolving incidents and problems - Ensure proper troubleshooting and follow-up on incidents - Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Qualifications Required: - Consulting profile with experience in process and chain improvement - Academic background in Computer Science, Economics, or Finance - Proven experience in SQL programming languages - Proficiency in English (>B2) - Experience in L2/3 IT functional Support - Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills with efficient multi-tasking abilities - Empathy and ownership of customer issues - Strong interpersonal, relationship, management, and communication skills - Ability to promote process improvement - Understanding of object-oriented languages Additional Details: - Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with Oracle, Hive database, Unix, Business Intelligence, familiarity with basic ITIL, basic financial concepts, familiarity with Jira/Confluence, and knowledge of French.
