IT Application Architect

As an IT Application Architect at TaskUs, you will be responsible for designing and developing web-based services for our Ridiculously Awesome applications. Your role will require a high sense of ownership, the ability to build scalable applications, and a commitment to performing application design, development, and deployment based on industry best practices. You will need to be motivated, responsive, and bring your expertise in architecting and engineering apt solutions to unique problems. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate expert-level knowledge in implementing .NET & NodeJS Application solutions in an enterprise setting. - Deliver application solution frameworks for functional areas within an Organization. - Visualize end-to-end solutions and lifecycle of applications developed for the next 5 to 10 years. - Possess a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns. - Recommend ideal IT infrastructure requirements for both Cloud and On-Premise solutions. - Provide technical guidance and leadership to a group of .NET & NodeJS web and application developers. - Collaborate and align vision with business stakeholders to deliver desired requirements. - Maintain guidelines for application development standards and best practices. Required Qualifications: - 12 years of experience in software solution delivery using the Microsoft .NET platform (.NET Framework 6.0 and later, .NET core 6 or later) & NodeJS. - MCP certifications are advantageous for the role. - Demonstrated leadership functions within a highly technical development team. - Experience working in an SDLC/Agile environment. - Proficiency in coding in C#, Javascript, SQL. - Knowledge of ajax frameworks such as AngularJS, JQuery, VueJS. - Previous projects using MVC, Entity Framework. - Experience in implementing solutions in AWS cloud. - Deployment of containerized applications using Docker. - Familiarity with CICD tools such as Jenkins, Git Actions, AzureDevOps. - Knowledge of AWS technologies: Lambda, Serverless architecture, Glue, SQS, RDS, EC2. - Immediate availability to start work or within 30 days. Education / Certifications: - Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent.
