The Alternative Research Analyst will be responsible for actively supporting the design and production of ESG-related research solutions dedicated to non-listed entities and alternative investments such as real estate, infrastructure, private equity, private credit, etc. The role requires active involvement with quality management and process enhancement to independently assess ESG-related alternative investment data. It also requires close interaction with other Analysts and internal stakeholders (Integrated Solutions, Methodology, Product, and Data Governance). Responsibilities Actively supporting the design and production of ESG-related research solutions dedicated to non-listed entities and alternative investments, with a strong focus on quality management and process enhancement. Independently assessing ESG-related and non-financial data, both qualitative and quantitative, to deliver detailed reports. Independently conducting end-to-end sustainability assessments of alternative investments in line with approved methodologies and processes. Developing a thorough understanding of relevant ESG standards and frameworks. Working collaboratively and cross-functionally with internal stakeholders from Integrated Solutions, Methodology, Product, and Data Governance. Reporting to the Alternative Research Team Lead and working closely with other Analysts. Qualifications Master’s degree in a relevant field (Finance, Economics, Statistics, Sustainability, Engineering), with a high level of curiosity in ESG topics. CFA, CAIA, CFA’s Certificate in ESG Investing seen as a plus. 2-3 years of prior work experience in capital markets, investment research, ESG/sustainability research, or data analysis.
