As a Corporate EHS and ESG Manager, he will establish and ensure a culture of safety excellence and safeguard compliance with all relevant regulations and standards of vehicle safety management. This comprises identifying and implementing effective programs and protocols for vehicle and drivers safety. He will promptly respond to drivers safety concerns, provide guidance and support in resolving issues and improve overall fleet safety performance. Objectives of this role Developing and implementing road safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with local and national vehicle and road safety regulations. Ensuring the highest safety compliance standards and a healthy work setting for coach captains and customers. Monitoring and staying updated on safety regulations, codes and standards applicable to the E-vehicles, Road Transport and Environment. Supporting emergency preparedness and response efforts, including developing evacuation plans and procedures during the fleet operations. Investigating all Enroute accidents and incidents to determine root causes and parallel implementing corrective measures across all depots to prevent a recurrence. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote safety initiatives and ensure the integration of safety practices into daily operations. Collaboration and effective & timely implementation of guidelines received from fund. Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with external organizations, such as government bodies, safety organizations and insurance companies. Responsibility: Develop, implement and maintain strategies, plans and procedures to protect drivers, property and vehicles from both external and internal safety hazards. Assess route risk and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate them at depot operations. Implementing ESG initiatives and MIS as required by funds with support from EHS/ESG head Oversee waste management, pollution control, and environmental compliance initiatives to minimize the companys ecological footprint Organizing management review meetings as and when necessary, under governance system. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety issues and ensure compliance with established safety protocols. Investigate all the enroute incidents and accidents, determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Provide regular safety training sessions and organise impactful road safety campaigns to promote awareness. Maintain accurate records and documentation for enroute safety inspections, incidents and training. Monitor fleet score and driver performance. Analyse incident trends and prepare improvement plan. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety strategies, plans and procedures. Identify and develop different digital interventions to identify driver driving behaviours and control measures. Provide guidance and support to management and CC trainers on safety-related matters. Regularly visit other depots, mid-points, endpoints and other facilities to identify potential safety issues and ensure compliance with established safety protocols. Maintaining MIS and prepare various management reports. Skills: Experience working in sectors like electric vehicle manufacturing, construction, chemicals, or energy. Familiarity with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety). First aid and emergency response certification. Strong leadership and people management skills.
