IS Technical Solution Architect for SAP MDG

Role Overview: As an IS Technical Solution Architect for SAP MDG at ABB, you will have the opportunity to own software solution architecture across multiple categories, ensuring alignment with enterprise and data architecture standards. Your responsibilities include designing and building robust and scalable software solutions, maintaining the integrity and quality of IS solutions, and delivering associated IS services to the business. You will play a key role in continuous improvement and compliance efforts within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Design and architect robust and scalable software solutions using front-end and back-end technologies, including highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and durable messaging queue systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Develop and maintain applications in CFIN/SAP4HANA/MDG environment. - Ensure code quality through best practices, including clean code principles, code reviews, and automated testing. - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes. - Demonstrate strong DevOps acumen. - Facilitate seamless integration of finance processes within the CFIN system and other enterprise systems, ensuring smooth data flow and automation of processes across platforms. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Math, or similar field. - At least 5 years of experience with a strong background in system configuration and implementation within SAP. - Proven understanding of SAP solutions. - Hands-on experience in SAP environment with proven understanding of its complexity and intricacies is a strong plus. - Understanding of compliance requirements is a strong plus. - Certifications required: ITIL V4 foundation. - Certifications preferred: CFIN/SAP/MDG technology-specific certifications, IT architecture certification.
