Ironing and folding Assistant

The Ironing and folding team supports daily warehouse operations including picking, ironing and folding.

Job Description

Pre-Ironing Preparation

1.Ensure the iron and ironing board are clean and in working condition.

2.Check the care label on each garment for ironing instructions (temperature, steam/no-steam).

3.Fill the iron with clean water if using a steam iron.

Ironing Process

1.Plug in the iron and set the correct temperature based on fabric type.

2.Place the garment flat on the ironing board, smoothing out wrinkles.

3.Iron in sections: start with collars, cuffs, and sleeves, then proceed to the main body.

4.Use steam or a spray bottle for stubborn wrinkles.

5.Avoid prolonged contact with one area to prevent burns or shine marks.

Recheck for any missed wrinkles.

1.Folding Process

Ensure the garment is completely dry and wrinkle-free.

2.Use a clean, flat surface for folding.

3.Fold neatly along natural seams for each garment.

4.Stack folded garments neatly for storage or packing.

5.Place folded clothes in designated storage areas or packaging.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
