IP Provisioning MPLS

Job Description

Supporting timely implementation of service migration/cutover for IP network (MPLS & Internet). Design, Provision and Test services on IP (MPLS & Internet) network to fulfill network migration projects requirements. Liaise with both internal/external suppliers & customers for service cutovers as required. Key Accountabilities: Service cutover: Support timely implementation of service migration/cutover for IP network (MPLS & Internet). Capture pre & post migration logs, execution and verify services status. Liaise with both internal/external suppliers & customers for cutovers as required. Flexible to support the service migration/cutover out of business hours to meet project requirements. Ensure meeting agreed Service migration KPI. Service provisioning: Design, Provision and Test services on IP (MPLS & Internet) network to meet service migration requirements. Work with internal stakeholders for any network resource requirement to fulfil circuits provisioning. Service Decommission: Support Project managers on decommissioning of idle circuits on legacy IP (MPLS & Internet) network. Service Records & Inventory Database: Ensure clean & up-to-date service records are maintained so that services could be properly assured. Support data remediation and update Telstra inventory systems (CCMS/ Veritas). Management Support: Provide regularly management reports when required. Proactively provide support to other team members and teams in the section to meet section objectives. Technical Capabilities / Skills: Technical Descriptors: Stakeholder Management Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peer groups and key internal stakeholders and maintain agreed external stakeholders relationships relevant to the achievement of business objectives Business Knowledge Prior knowledge and experience of configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting of services on IP (MPLS & Internet) network, including routers and switches. Prior knowledge and experience of OSPF and BGP dynamic routing protocols. Prior knowledge and experience of MPLS, L2VPN (point-to-point, VPLS), L3VPNs, traffic-engineering. Must have hands on working experience on both Cisco & Juniper platform. Ability to make use of service database & inventory systems to maintain a clean and updated service records for management purpose Design, Provision and test services on IP (MPLS & Internet) network to meet service migration requirements.
