Greetings from Sarvodaya Hospital, Greater Noida West Preferred candidate profile Sarvodaya Hospital Greater Noida West is looking for- Position : Incharge - IP Pharmacy Experience Required: 10 - 12 years, with at least 3 years in Incharge role within IPD hospital pharmacy operations Qualification: B. Pharm / M. Pharm Role Summary: The Incharge IP Pharmacy will lead the in-patient pharmacy operations. This role is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted, accurate, and compliant medication dispensing to admitted patients, maintaining quality and safety standards, optimizing inventory and processes, and driving operational excellence and patient safety. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations of the IP pharmacy across all nursing stations and critical care units. Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications as per the doctor's prescriptions. Monitor adherence to drug administration protocols, storage guidelines, and expiry management. Implement and enforce SOPs aligned with NABH, JCI, and pharmacy regulations. Coordinate with nursing, doctors, and materials management for seamless medication delivery. Lead and supervise the IP pharmacy team, including pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and shift leads. Develop rosters, manage shifts, and ensure adequate staffing at all times. Conduct regular training on prescription auditing, drug interactions, and medication safety. Work closely with the central procurement and stores to maintain adequate stock levels. Monitor stock movement, pilferage control, and buffer stock requirements. Optimize drug inventory based on patient load and specialty-wise demand. Ensure complete compliance with Drugs & Cosmetics Act and hospital policies. Conduct regular audits of IP pharmacy areas to ensure safety, hygiene, and quality. Address any non-conformities found during audits and take corrective actions. Act as the primary liaison between pharmacy, nursing services, and the clinical team. Resolve escalations related to drug availability, TAT, prescription errors, etc. Participate in clinical rounds and medication review committees.
