Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient medical records and audit assigned codes (ICD-10-CM/PCS and DRG) for accuracy.
• Ensure that all coding is fully compliant with federal guidelines (like CMS), payer policies, and official coding guidelines.
• Provide training and constructive feedback to coders to improve their accuracy and knowledge.
• Help identify trends and recurring coding errors to improve overall coding quality.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality improvement plans.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest coding changes and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with coding management and other teams to address coding issues. 

Qualifications

• Education:

   Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., life science, nursing).

• Experience:

   [Number] years of experience in IP DRG coding and auditing.

• Certification:

   Must hold an active certification such as CCS, CPC, or CIC.

• Skills:
