IOT Testing

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in IOT products verification and validation
• Hands-on experience with IoT devices testing
• Familiarity with Web service/API testing tools like SOAP UI and Postman
• Knowledge of basic protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, MQTT, and network monitoring tools like Wireshark
• Expertise in browser and device compatibility testing
• Strong grasp of testing principles, concepts, and techniques
• Experience in continuous integration and delivery environments
• Ability to create Test Metrics for status reporting
• Proficiency in using test management tools for recording results and managing defects

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, offering technical guidance and career development support
• Develop and implement test strategies for embedded IoT devices
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks for hardware-software integration testing
• Analyze test results to enhance product quality
• Lead debugging efforts for complex system issues
• Collaborate with product management to establish quality metrics and acceptance criteria
• Manage test lab infrastructure and testing environments
