IoT Edge

You will be working as an Edge Developer I in Pune on a full-time basis at a leading Digital solution company for Business IT solutions. With 5 to 10 years of experience, your responsibilities will include engaging with end users to determine requirements and use cases, implementing algorithms on the edge, designing, building, and deploying apps for the Edge Gateway, creating reusable code and libraries for future use, and collaborating with team members and stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in developing applications in Python. Additionally, having a good understanding and experience in IoT architecture, network topologies, IoT security, communication protocols (MQTT, Kafka), as well as experience in implementing IoT solutions on Azure or GCP is required. Experience in container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, code optimization for real-time environments, working with Linux and Bash scripting, and embedded software development will be beneficial. Experience with small single-board computers like Raspberry Pi, virtual machines, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, Agile methodologies, Git source code management, Test-Driven Development, integration testing, and a self-starter attitude in a dynamic start-up environment will be advantageous. Familiarity with Oil and gas domain is a plus. Your primary skillset should include IoT Edge, with secondary skills in Python, MQTT, and Kafka.
