Position: Neapolitan Pizza Chef (Pizzaiolo) Location: New Delhi, India Key Responsibilities: As our Neapolitan Pizza Chef, you will be entrusted with the heart of our pizzeria – the pizza itself. Your primary responsibilities will include: Dough Master: Expertly preparing and managing our signature Neapolitan pizza dough, following our traditional recipe and techniques for fermentation and handling. Oven Artistry: Skillfully operating and maintaining our wood-fired oven to achieve the perfect leopard-spotted crust and authentic Neapolitan bake. Ingredient Expertise: Sourcing, preparing, and ensuring the freshness and quality of all pizza ingredients, from San Marzano tomatoes and fresh mozzarella to locally sourced toppings. Menu Innovation: Collaborating with the head chef to develop new and exciting seasonal pizza creations while respecting the traditions of Neapolitan cuisine. Quality Control: Maintaining the highest standards of taste, presentation, and consistency for every pizza that leaves the kitchen. Kitchen Leadership: Working collaboratively with our kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service, especially during peak hours. Hygiene and Safety: Upholding strict adherence to all food safety and sanitation regulations. What We Are Looking For: Proven Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Pizza Chef, with a strong focus on Neapolitan-style pizza. The Right Skills: Mastery of dough making, stretching, and shaping techniques. Proficiency in operating and managing a high temperature stone pizza oven. A deep understanding of Italian ingredients and flavor profiles. Good understanding for pasta and other authentic Italian cuisine. The ability to work efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
