Role Overview We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated Robotics Intern (Immediate Joiner) to join our R&D team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to designing, developing, testing, and integrating robotic systems. You will work closely with senior engineers and gain real-world experience across hardware, software, and automation domains. This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates looking to build strong technical foundations in robotics. Key Responsibilities Assist in designing and developing robotic mechanisms, actuators, and sub-systems. Support development and integration of control algorithms for movement, navigation, and manipulation. Work with sensors such as LiDAR, depth cameras, IMUs, encoders, and other perception hardware. Participate in building, testing, and troubleshooting robotic prototypes. Collaborate with cross-functional mechanical, electrical, and AI teams for system integration. Support development of ROS/ROS2-based modules for perception, control, and communication. Perform system-level testing, calibration, validation, and prepare basic documentation. Assist in lab setup, robot maintenance, and on-site deployment activities when required. Ensure adherence to safety and reliability guidelines during robot operation. Required Skills & Qualifications Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related fields. Basic understanding of robot kinematics, dynamics, control systems, and automation concepts. Familiarity with Python, C++, or embedded programming . Exposure to robotics frameworks like ROS/ROS2 (academic or project-level experience acceptable). Understanding of hardware components: motors, drivers, microcontrollers, and communication interfaces (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C). Ability to design simple mechanical parts using CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360 (preferred). Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced R&D environment. Ability to join immediately or within 0–15 days. Preferred (Good to Have) Experience working on academic or personal robotics projects. Familiarity with machine vision, sensor fusion, SLAM, or path-planning basics. Exposure to autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), robotic arms, or automation systems. Basic knowledge of PCB design, electrical wiring, or rapid prototyping. Exposure to simulation tools such as Gazebo, Webots, Isaac Sim, or digital twins.
