Mandatory qualifications: DM Cardiology or DNB-SS Cardiology.

The degree must be recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Key experience and technical expertise

Minimum Experience

Exceptional Candidates

Technical Proficiency (Subject-Specific Expertise)

  • Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) with Stenting (including Drug-Eluting Stents) and Coronary Angiography.
  • Percutaneous Device Closure procedures (e.g., ASD, VSD, PDA).
  • Balloon Valvuloplasty (Mitral, Aortic, Pulmonary Stenosis) and Coarctoplasty.
  • Permanent Pacemaker Implantation (PPI) and complex Cardiac Catheterization.

Clinical Leadership

Academic Focus

Key responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership for the Cardiology Department, working to lead and strengthen interventional services.
  • Perform scheduled and emergency invasive cardiac procedures and interventions (24x7 support).
  • Offer comprehensive cardiac consultant services to Outpatient Department (OPD) and inpatient admissions.
  • Manage critical care patients within the Coronary Care Unit (CCU).
  • Contribute to clinical training, research, and departmental development initiatives.
