Job Title: Junior Executive – Finance & Accounts Department: Finance & Accounts Location: [Ulsoor Bangalore] Reporting To: Manager – Finance & Accounts / Finance Controller Employment Type: Full-time Position Overview: The Junior Executive – Finance & Accounts will support the Finance team in day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in the preparation of MIS reports, processing vendor payments, reconciling accounts, and supporting internal and statutory audits. Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounting & Bookkeeping Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as required. Maintain ledgers for vendors, customers, and general accounts. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. 2. Payables & Receivables Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payment as per terms. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Track receivables and follow up with internal teams/customers for collections. 3. Bank & Cash Management Prepare daily bank reconciliation statements. Manage petty cash and ensure proper documentation for expenses. Assist in fund transfers and other banking operations. 4. Reporting Assist in preparation of MIS reports, budgets, and variance analysis. Qualifications & Skills: Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / Inter CA preferred. Experience: 0–2 years of experience in accounting and finance. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar). Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Key Competencies: Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data. Team player with a proactive attitude. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
