Internship Position: Digital Media & Web Design Intern

We are a growing business seeking a motivated intern to support our digital presence and creative needs. This role is ideal for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience in picture editing, website design, and user experience (UI/UX) while contributing directly to the growth of an entrepreneurial venture.

Role Overview

As a Digital Media & Web Design Intern, you will assist in creating engaging digital content and improving our online presence. You will work on tasks ranging from editing product/service images to refining the layout and design of our website. The role also involves supporting basic UI/UX improvements to ensure a smooth and professional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Edit and enhance images for web and social media use (product, promotional, and brand visuals).
• Assist with website design updates and improvements (layout, branding, content formatting).
• Apply basic UI/UX principles to ensure a user-friendly online experience.
• Support the creation of digital marketing materials (banners, graphics, presentations).
• Collaborate on branding and design ideas that align with business goals.
• Perform other creative and design-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of image editing software (e.g., Photoshop, Canva, GIMP, or similar).
• Familiarity with website builders (e.g., WordPress, Wix, Squarespace) or basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
• Understanding of UI/UX fundamentals.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills (nice to have but not required)

• Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or other design tools.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and website optimization.
• Interest in digital marketing or content creation.
