Job Description

Consultant Internal Medicine

Key Responsibilities

Provide OPD, IPD and emergency care services for adult patients.
Diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
Conduct patient assessments, order investigations and interpret diagnostic results.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide preventive healthcare advice and promote patient education.
Collaborate with other consultants, specialists and the nursing team for holistic care.
Participate in clinical discussions, medical boards and quality initiatives.
Maintain accurate patient records as per hospital protocols.
Ensure compliance with NABH and hospital policies.
Mentor junior doctors, residents and nursing staff when required.

Qualification & Experience

MBBS with MD/DNB in Internal Medicine from a recognized institute.
Valid registration with Medical Council of India / State Medical Council.
Minimum 3 years of post-MD experience as Consultant/Attending Physician.
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with evidence-based approach.
Excellent communication and patient management skills.
