The role of a PLC and Robotic Engineer for a Lithium Battery Project in Pune involves designing and implementing robotics and automation systems, analyzing and enhancing existing processes, writing and testing software code for automation systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. The engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining automation systems to ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate should possess Robotics and Process Automation skills, strong analytical skills, software development skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Experience in battery technology or related fields would be advantageous. Key responsibilities include component selection and BOM generation, PLC/HMI/servo programming based on equipment flowcharts, on-site commissioning and customer training, issue reporting and cross-functional resolution, electrical documentation/program archiving, and collaboration with the mechanical team on electrical solutions. Qualifications required for the role include a degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics/Instrumentation/Controls, preferred experience with Keyence PLC/Ether CAT/Ethernet/IP, 3-5 years in non-standard equipment commissioning, strong communication and analytical skills, and accountability with the ability to adapt to overtime/travel requirements.,
