Job Profile: Interior Project SupervisorPosition Overview

The Interior Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the execution of interior design and fit-out projects from start to finish. This role ensures that all site activities adhere to design specifications, quality standards, timelines, safety regulations, and client expectations. The supervisor coordinates with designers, contractors, vendors, and clients to deliver projects efficiently and professionally.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite Management & Execution

• Oversee daily on-site operations to ensure work progresses according to approved drawings, schedules, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, materials, and compliance with design specifications.
• Identify and resolve on-site technical issues promptly.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with interior designers, subcontractors, and craftsmen to ensure seamless project execution.
• Communicate project updates, challenges, and progress to the project manager and clients.
• Attend site meetings and ensure action items are completed on time.

Quality Control

• Ensure all materials and finishes meet the required standards and specifications.
• Verify the accuracy of installations, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, flooring, and furnishings.
• Conduct final quality checks and assist in project handover.

Project Scheduling

• Monitor project timelines and coordinate workflow to avoid delays.
• Assist in preparing daily/weekly site progress reports.
• Manage manpower allocation and ensure availability of required materials and tools.

Health & Safety

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all workers follow site safety regulations.
• Report safety incidents and take corrective actions to prevent future risks.

Documentation

• Maintain accurate site records, including material usage, work completed, and attendance of workers.
• Validate contractor bills and work measurements before submission for approval.

Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills

• Strong understanding of interior construction, materials, finishes, and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
• Knowledge of MEP coordination in interior projects.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
• 2–7 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction supervision.

Work Environment

• site-based role
• May require extended working hours depending on project deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
