Interior Drafter

You will be joining Grey Architects as a skilled and experienced Drafter, where your primary responsibility will be creating detailed drawings for custom millwork projects. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our engineering team to fulfill the requirements of our North American clients. Your duties will include developing accurate and detailed drawings for custom millwork projects. This will involve creating high-level shop drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details according to specific client standards. It is essential to stay updated on industry trends and technologies to ensure our company is using the most efficient methods. Furthermore, you will be expected to consistently refine and enhance your skills, pushing the boundaries of design and innovation. Your creative input will play a significant role in upholding our company's reputation for excellence. Effective project communication with clients through calls and emails, including kick-off calls, is a crucial aspect of this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a degree in architectural design or a related field, with a focus on millwork and joinery. Additionally, you must have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in millwork drafting and design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software is required, along with knowledge of MS Office. This is an urgent full-time position with paid time off. The working schedule is in the morning shift, and benefits include performance bonuses and yearly bonuses.
