Interior Designer – Site Measurement & Layout

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Interior Designer responsible for on-site measurements, layout planning, and design coordination. The ideal candidate will play a key role in capturing accurate site dimensions, preparing layout drawings, and collaborating with the design and execution teams to ensure flawless implementation. Key Responsibilities: Visit client sites to take accurate measurements of walls, flooring, windows, ceilings, and other structural elements. Prepare detailed site measurement reports and as-built drawings . Create 2D layout plans and coordinate with the design team for 3D visualization and client presentations. Ensure layout drawings align with site conditions and client requirements. Collaborate with the project team and vendors to finalize furniture positioning, electrical, plumbing, and civil changes if required. Maintain site measurement logs, photos, and dimensioned sketches for documentation. Communicate with clients and contractors for layout approvals and minor revisions. Participate in site meetings to ensure design feasibility and resolve any layout-related queries. Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools is an added advantage. Strong understanding of space planning and ergonomics. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements. Ability to read and interpret architectural and other drawings. Good communication and client-handling skills. Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
