Description
As an Integration Software Engineer at Chevron ENGINE, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining API & Integration solutions using Microsoft Azure Integration Services. Your key skills will include proficiency in Azure Integration services, C#, .NET, RESTful APIs, relational databases, and implementing best practices for code quality and security. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using Azure Integration Services, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Event Grid, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Service Bus. - Develop integration components using C# and .NET, ensuring scalability, performance, and adherence to best coding practices. - Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and well-documented for use by internal and external stakeholders. - Interact with relational databases to retrieve, manipulate, and integrate data, using SQL for data access. - Implement best practices for code quality, maintainability, and security. Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and optimize integration performance. - Utilize Microsoft Azure services to manage workflows and integrate cloud and on-premises systems, ensuring reliability and efficiency. - Assist in troubleshooting integration issues and provide support to resolve incidents related to integration components. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, business analysts, and IT teams, to understand integration needs and deliver effective solutions. - Maintain documentation for integration designs, solutions, and technical requirements to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding. Required Qualifications: - Experience: Overall 2-4 years of experience with 2 years of proven experience in software development or integration engineering. - Technical Skills: - Azure Integration Services: Proficiency with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Event Grid, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Service Bus. - Programming Languages: Strong experience with C# and .NET for developing integration components. - API Development: Experience with developing and consuming RESTful APIs. - Database Interaction: Proficiency with relational databases like SQL Server, including writing efficient SQL queries. - Code Quality and Security: Familiarity with best practices for secure coding, including code quality tools and techniques. - Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve integration issues. - Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, interacting with team members and stakeholders to deliver integration solutions. - Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The standard work week is Monday to Friday with working hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.,
