Role Overview The Site Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring day-to-day site activities, ensuring that work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The position requires close coordination with contractors, labour teams, consultants, and project management to ensure timely progress and quality control, especially on heritage/conservation sites where sensitive handling of materials and techniques is critical. Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor daily site activities as per project schedule and instructions from the Project Architect/Engineer. Ensure that construction/restoration work is carried out as per approved drawings, conservation guidelines, and specifications. Coordinate with contractors, labour, skilled artisans, and material suppliers to maintain smooth workflow. Maintain daily reports , including manpower deployment, material usage, site progress, and work photographs. Ensure quality control and adherence to conservation protocols (in case of heritage projects). Verify site measurements and provide data to the drafting/engineering team when required. Maintain discipline, work allocation, and site housekeeping standards (cleaning, organizing tools & materials). Report any deviations, site issues, or structural concerns immediately to the Project Lead/Engineer. Ensure proper handling and storage of materials , especially heritage-sensitive assets. Assist in installation of signages, barricading, temporary storage, and protection works at the site. Implement and monitor safety protocols , including PPE use, restricted access areas, and hazard signage. The AUTOCAD Draughtsman/woman will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural drawings, measured documentation, and working drawings required for conservation, restoration, and architectural development projects. The role involves accurate drafting, site measurements, coordination with the project team, and maintaining drawing records as per organizational standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare 2D architectural drawings , detailed working drawings, and construction documentation using AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software. Conduct site visits and measured drawings , including preparation of survey drawings, condition mapping, and as-built drawings. Assist in documentation of heritage structures , including deterioration mapping and preparation of restoration charts (for conservation projects). Develop drawings based on sketches, concepts, specifications, and instructions given by the Architect/Engineer. Maintain accuracy in dimensions, layer standards, scaling, and sheet composition as per office protocols. Prepare shop drawings, joinery details, flooring patterns, elevation sections, and architectural details as required. Update drawings based on review comments from consultants, engineers, or authorities. Manage documentation and filing (digital & hard copy) of drawing sets, revisions, and final deliverables. Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and consultants for clarifications related to drawings. Ensure drawings follow project standards, codes, and best drafting practices.
