Insurance - Guidewire PC Config - Staff

Role Overview: Join EY as a Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Support Engineer (Staff 3-6 years) to develop, implement, and support solutions within the Guidewire Policy Centre module. You will work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to ensure efficient and reliable policy administration systems aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Guidewire PolicyCenter Support and Maintenance (Staff 3-6 years) - Design, build, support, and perform defect fixes. - Conduct Root Cause Analysis and provide fixes. - Implement enhancements and code changes. - Be flexible to work in shifts (Rotational Shift India Shift, US Shift) and provide On-Call Support. - Proactively monitor systems. - Manage Guidewire PC Configuration & Integration. - Design, modify, and implement the Guidewire product suite. Skills And Attributes For Success: - Deep understanding of Guidewire framework Policy Centre, implementation, architecture, and components. - Must have Guidewire PolicyCenter 9.0 version + technical/functional/cloud certification. - Proficient in development streams - Configuration/Integration/Both. - Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE including web services, API integration. - Experience in production support activities like queue management, plug-in related issues, and batch file generations. - Familiarity with tools like Service-now, JIRA, soap-ui, eclipse IDE, SVN, Jenkins. - Understanding of service management, change management activities, SLAs, and estimator tools. - Exposure to working in shifts and providing on-call support. - Experience in incident management and problem management. - Knowledge of SDLC life cycle, release planning, and management. - Working knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT. - Strong skills in SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System. - Proficiency in Tomcat and/or WebSphere/WebLogic.
