Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining EY as a Guidewire Claim Centre Support with 6 to 8 years of experience. Your main responsibility will be to provide Guidewire Policy Center Support and Maintenance. You must be willing to work in shifts and provide on-call support as per the rotational basis. Your role will involve maintaining and supporting applications, conducting testing, managing deployments, and performing root cause analysis & defect fixes. Additionally, you will manage the Guidewire Configuration and implement the Guidewire product suite. Key Responsibilities: - Guidewire Policy Center Support and Maintenance (Senior 6-8 years) - Must be flexible to work in shifts (Rotational Shift India Shift, UK Shift) and On Call Support on a rostered rotational basis. - Proficient in maintaining and supporting applications, enhancements, conducting testing, and managing deployments, performing root cause analysis & defect fixes. - Manages the Guidewire Configuration. - Designs, modifies and implements Guidewire product suite. Qualifications Required: - Deep understanding of Guidewire framework Policy Centre, implementation, architecture, and components - Must have Guidewire Policy Center 9.0 version + technical/functional/cloud certification. - Well versed in development streams - Configuration/Integration/Both - Strong knowledge in Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting / UI / Data Model) - Implementation of Rules (including UI Validation) using GOSU scripting. - Metadata Configuration of Rules (including UI Validation). - Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE like web services, API integration. - Experience in production support activities like queue management, plug-in related issues, batch file generations. - Experience with tools like Service-now, JIRA, soap-UI, eclipse IDE, SVN, Jenkins. - Understand service management and change management activities, along with SLAs and estimator tools. - Have exposure to working in shifts and on-call support. - Should have worked on incident management and problem management. - Should have an idea of SDLC life cycle along with release planning and management. - Working knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT - Strong in SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System - Should have strong knowledge and experience with Tomcat and/or WebSphere/WebLogic Company Details: EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global delivery network operating across six locations - Argentina, China, India, the Philippines, Poland, and the UK.
