Insurance-Guidewire Architect-Manager

As a Manager in the Technology Consulting team at EY, your role involves designing and creating technical solutions for various Guidewire implementation and Prototype development projects for global customers. You must possess excellent presentation skills, a deep understanding of tech stacks, and architecture landscape. Your Key Responsibilities include: - Interface, collaborate, and communicate with onsite coordinators and end clients. - Lead the design and architecture of Guidewire applications, such as PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and Jutro Digital Platform. - Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to gather requirements and define technical solutions. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams. - Ensure best practices in software development, including coding standards, testing, and deployment. - Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and stay updated with Guidewire product updates and industry trends. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Guidewire applications. - Participate in client meetings to present architectural designs and project updates. - Focus on ideation and asset development on the Guidewire Tech Stack. Your People Responsibilities: - Build a quality culture within the team. - Manage performance management for direct reports as per organizational policies. - Foster teamwork, lead by example, and provide training and mentoring to budding technical architects and SMEs. - Participate in organization-wide people initiatives to drive the technical excellence agenda. Qualifications Required: Technical skills: - BE/BTech/MCA & MBA with 10-15 years of industry experience. - Hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter Configuration and/or Guidewire Integration. - Strong knowledge in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines products. - Proficient in Java 8+, JEE, XML, Web Services, SQL, ANT, Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, Enterprise Messaging System, Tomcat, Websphere/Weblogic. - Real-time knowledge in enterprise system integration for Insurance applications. - Understanding of software development best practices, cloud technologies, and third-party system integration. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication, interpersonal, leadership, and client stakeholder management skills. Additional skills: - Experience in Guidewire implementations/upgrades and Insurance domain in Property & Casualty. - Prior client-facing experience.
