Insurance Advisor Manager

As an Insurance Advisor Manager, your primary responsibilities will include preparing and presenting comparisons of quotes for new policies and renewals. You will be expected to analyze potential risks and recommend strategies to mitigate these risks. Staying informed on trends and developments in the insurance industry is crucial to provide up-to-date advice. Additionally, you will support in filing insurance claims and advise management on the process/methodology to maximize the value of the loss. Part of your role will involve preparing and analyzing reports on claims performance, costs, and trends for senior management. It will also be essential to conduct regular checks and audits of claim files to ensure quality and compliance. To excel in this position, you must possess expert knowledge of insurance matters, covering desired risks for the organization and various policies such as fire, machinery breakdown, and employees" policies. A good understanding of day-to-day insurance affairs, including staying updated on IRDA guidelines, is necessary. Moreover, you should have sufficient knowledge of settling various insurance claims and possess strong negotiation skills to secure competitive premiums on non-tariff policies without compromising on risks. Exposure to working closely with different insurance companies will be advantageous. Ideally, you should hold an MBA/M.Com with specialized knowledge and experience in insurance matters. A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
