Job Description

Role Overview: As an electronics/electrical engineer in the highly technical industry of scientific instrumentation, your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and testing components, devices, systems, or equipment. You will play a crucial role in various stages of a project, from the initial concept brief to design and development, prototype testing, final manufacture, assembly of electronics boards, wiring of scientific devices, quality checks, and procurement of electronics and electrical components. Collaboration with colleagues from different engineering branches will be a key aspect of your work. Key Responsibilities: - Possess basic knowledge of electronics components such as microcontrollers, IC's, resistors, diodes, etc. - Proficient in using a multimeter for testing purposes. - Understanding of voltage type transducers, including pressure gauges. - Familiarity with basic electrical wiring terminology. - Optional: Hands-on experience in soldering through-hole components.
