Scientific Instrumentation is a highly technical industry where as an electronics/electrical engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing components, devices, systems, or equipment at any stage of a project. This includes the initial concept brief, design and development, prototype testing, final manufacturing, assembly of electronics boards, wiring of scientific devices, quality checks, and procurement of electronics and electrical components. Collaboration with colleagues from other engineering branches is an integral part of the role. You must possess basic knowledge of electronics components such as microcontrollers, ICs, resistors, diodes, etc. Additionally, you should be proficient in using a multimeter and have a basic understanding of Voltage type transducers like pressure gauges. Familiarity with basic electrical wiring terminology is also essential. Hands-on experience with Soldering through-hole components is considered an optional skill. A Diploma or B.E qualification is a requirement for this position.
