Position: CNC Helper / Instructional Assistant

Location: Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose:

To assist CNC machine operators and technicians with daily machining activities, including material preparation, machine setup support, tooling assistance, basic measurements, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. The CNC Helper ensures smooth workflow and supports production efficiency within the CNC machining unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist CNC operators in machine setup, loading/unloading materials, and basic machine preparation.
• Support in fetching tools, cutters, fixtures, and materials required for CNC machining operations.
• Perform basic tasks such as cleaning components, deburring, and simple manual operations.
• Help align raw materials and ensure proper placement on jigs, vices, or fixtures.
• Measure basic dimensions using vernier calipers, gauges, and simple measuring tools.
• Follow instructions from senior CNC operators or supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness around CNC machines and ensure a safe, organized workspace.
• Assist in documenting production data and labeling finished components when required.
• Ensure correct handling and storage of tools, raw materials, and finished parts.
• Follow all company safety rules, PPE requirements, and machining safety practices.
• Support machine maintenance activities such as cleaning chips, coolant filling, and basic lubrication tasks under supervision.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of machining processes (CNC or conventional).
• Ability to understand simple technical instructions and workflow processes.
• Familiarity with basic measuring tools (vernier calipers, scales, gauges).
• Willingness to work in a machine shop or industrial environment.
• Strong attitude to learn CNC machining and develop technical skills.
• Good physical fitness and ability to handle materials and tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Preferred:

• Experience as a helper in a CNC machining unit, fabrication shop, or engineering workshop.
• Basic understanding of CNC operations, G-codes, or tooling concepts.
• Knowledge of mechanical tools, cutting tools, or fixture setups.
