Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager located in Chennai. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for daily operations, coordinating events, managing communications, and supporting senior management. Responsibilities include handling member queries, organizing training sessions, preparing reports, and ensuring all activities comply with corporate governance standards. Qualifications Experience in operations management, event coordination, and administrative support Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Knowledge of corporate governance and business excellence principles Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field Relevant experience in the corporate, government, or NGO sectors is a plus

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant Manager / Manager - Events & Conferences at the Institute of Directors (IOD) in Delhi. The individual will be responsible for marketing, planning, organizing, and coordinating conferences and events, including venue management, speaker management, budgeting, sponsorship, and marketing support. Promotion and Building corporate collaborations for conducting events & training programs. End-to-end delivery of events/conferences & projects Business through Revenue development & generating sponsorship, developing corporate partnerships. Conducts short- and long-term planning and management for meetings, events and conferences with National & International experts. Client Management Creating marketing plans for conference amplification Digital marketing & content avenues required for enhancement of proper visibility Qualifications A Master's degree in a related field such as Event Management, Conferences, or Marketing 2-7 years of relevant work experience coordinating, planning, and executing events and conferences Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with event sponsors, vendors, and partners Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude.
