The Role — Senior Partner (India) We’re seeking a Senior Partner – India to lead and scale Instaura’s Investment Banking practice in the Indian market. You will operate as the territorial head of our India business — with full ownership over deal origination, client relationships, and revenue outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead fundraising and strategic advisory mandates for Indian startups, SMEs, and enterprises. Build, manage, and grow a high-performing deal team of Junior Partners, Analysts, and Interns. Source and close mandates in equity fundraising, structured debt, and strategic transactions. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with venture funds, family offices, and corporateinvestors. Drive pipeline reviews, investor introductions, and closing discussions with founders. Collaborate with the Managing Partner on regional growth, branding, and expansion initiatives. Maintain rigorous reporting discipline through the Chief of Staff and uphold Instaura’s Signal standards. Ideal Candidate Profile 10+ years in Investment Banking / PE / VC / Corporate Finance with a strong record in equity transactions. Deep network among founders, investors, and family offices across India. Demonstrated ability to originate and close mandates independently. Aggressive, entrepreneurial mindset with a growth-first orientation. Comfortable working in a partner-driven, results-based structure.
