As a Software Developer specializing in SAP Fiori / UI5 development, you will be responsible for the entire software product lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include developing new, innovative user-facing features, building reusable code and libraries for future use, and ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. You will also play a vital role in optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability. Collaboration is essential as you will be participating in UX design and prototyping sessions to create wireframes for feature development. Working in an Agile environment, you will liaise with team members to effectively communicate business requirements and expectations. Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance team effectiveness will be part of your regular tasks. In case of critical issues, your expertise will be crucial towards resolution as you troubleshoot existing Fiori applications. Staying updated with SAP releases, enhancements, and new functionality through applied research is expected from you. To excel in this role, you should possess 5+ years of experience in SAP Fiori / UI5 development, along with the ability to collaborate and interact with multiple teams. A university degree coupled with solid technology experience is preferred, and previous experience as a consultant or a senior developer will be beneficial. Strong debugging skills and expertise in Javascript, HTML5, CSS, Json, and XML are essential requirements. Desirable skills include experience in software product development, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with custom-developed UI5 apps (transactional, reporting, dashboard). Willingness to learn SAP backend development, including Gateway, OData, and ABAP, is highly appreciated.
