Innovation Manager, Data Science

As a part of the team at Beghou Consulting, you will be involved in designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions customized for pharmaceutical clients. Your role will entail collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business consultants, and software developers, to transform intricate life sciences challenges into AI-driven innovations. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement AI/ML pipelines to address real-world challenges in life sciences, such as territory alignment, rep scheduling, patient segmentation, and incentive compensation optimization. - Collaborate closely with domain consultants to comprehend client requirements and create personalized AI solutions. - Lead initiatives in data ingestion, feature engineering, and model development utilizing structured and unstructured data sources like sales data, KOL feedback, and medical claims. - Develop and implement scalable AI services and LLM-based copilots for field force, MSLs, or commercial analytics teams. - Apply GenAI and Agentic AI frameworks for commercial automation. - Conduct technical reviews and offer mentorship to junior AI team members. - Work in conjunction with DevOps and cloud teams to deploy models on AWS/Azure. - Present technical concepts and outcomes to internal stakeholders and client teams. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a client-facing or consulting capacity. - Proficiency in Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, LangChain, Hugging Face). - Experience in building and deploying machine learning models in production. - Strong grasp of MLOps tools and practices like MLflow, Docker, Git, CI/CD. - Exposure to LLMs, transformers, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques. - Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably AWS, Azure, Databricks). - Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders. - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
