Qualification: Any Graduate

Experience: 5 – 7 Years

Location: Coimbatore – Thennampalayam - Arasur

Job Description:

An Injection Mould Setter's primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient and safe operation of injection Moulding machines by preparing and setting up Moulds and ensuring optimal production processes. This involves changing molds, adjusting machine settings, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. They also play a role in preventative maintenance and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

Mold Setup and Changeovers:

Safely installing moulds and changing them out according to the production schedule, ensuring efficient machine utilization.

Machine Optimization:

Setting and adjusting machine parameters to achieve optimal production performance, including cycle times, material usage, and part quality.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

Identifying and resolving machine issues, performing routine maintenance, and coordinating with the maintenance department for more complex repairs.

Quality Control:

Inspecting moulded parts for quality, ensuring they meet specifications, and stopping production if necessary to address issues.

Process Improvement:

Suggesting improvements to manufacturing processes and assisting with new tool trials and development.

Safety and Compliance:

Following all safety procedures and regulations, reporting any unsafe conditions, and ensuring adherence to quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
