We're a small, high?impact team (25+ beta users) moving very fast. We break things, iterate quickly, and expect everyone to own outcomes, not excuses. The role (quick summary) We're hiring a founding Product Designer to lead design from strategy to execution. This is a high?ownership role: you'll shape product direction, build our design system, prototype rapidly, and ship features with a tight product/engineer loop. If you deliver results, we'll pay for it - and give meaningful equity. Start: ASAP. What you'll own End?to?end product design: research, UX flows, interaction design, visual design, and handoff. Rapid prototyping and validation (Figma + interactive prototypes, user tests, analytics?driven iteration). Design system: build, document, and maintain components and token system that scale. User research and testing: run interviews, usability tests, synthesize learnings, and turn them into concrete product changes. Cross?functional partnership: work tightly with engineering, GTM, and founders to prioritize and ship. Evangelize design thinking across the team; elevate product quality and consistency. Mentor and eventually hire/scale the design function as we grow. What success looks like (first 36 months) You ship multiple high?impact features from prototype to production. You deliver a living design system and clear component library. Customer feedback and usage metrics show improved onboarding, retention or task completion where you focused. The team trusts you to make fast decisions; you reduce design ? engineering cycle time. Must?have (required) Product design experience with shipped SaaS or consumer?facing products; portfolio with case studies that show problems, decisions, tradeoffs, and measurable outcomes. Exceptional design fundamentals: information architecture, interaction design, visual design, typography, layout, motion. Strong product sense and ability to prioritize based on business and user impact. Comfortable with ambiguity, rapid change, and tight timelines. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; clear handoffs to engineering. Attention to detail and a pragmatic, outcome?driven mindset. Nice?to?have Experience designing AI/agentic workflows or complex data interfaces. Experience building design systems from scratch. Prior experience at early?stage startups or as an early hire.
