Infrastructure Specialist - System Administration

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with strong focus on Dell, NetApp, and VMware technologies
• Proficiency in Windows/Linux server administration
• Solid understanding of enterprise data center operations and ITIL best practices
• Knowledge of Networking, DNS, Active Directory (AD), Firewall

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Storage, Server, and Virtualization environments
• Manage NetApp storage systems (ONTAP, SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS, SMB, SnapMirror, SnapVault)
• Administer virtualization platforms Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN
• Install, configure, and maintain Dell servers (physical and virtual)
• Perform system upgrades, firmware updates, and patch management
• Optimize infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues using Dell OpenManage, NetApp Active IQ, VMware vRealize
• Automate provisioning and operations using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Implement and manage backup & disaster recovery solutions aligned with RTO/RPO targets
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Dell, NetApp, VMware-based infrastructure engineering
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux administration, ITIL practices, and data center operations
• Familiarity with Networking, DNS, AD, Firewall concepts
