Job Summary: The Data Hosting Lead Solution Architect is tasked with developing, implementing, and optimizing Azure-based data hosting solutions. This includes focusing on storage, backup, automation, disaster recovery, and security. The role ensures seamless integration of NetApp storage, Veeam backup, Ansible automation, and security best practices within Azure environments to support operational functions and cloud scalability. Key Responsibilities: 1. Azure Data Hosting & Storage Architecture: • Design end-to-end data hosting solutions in Azure aligned with enterprise cloud strategies. • Develop scalable storage solutions using Azure NetApp Files (ANF), Blob Storage, and Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO). • Create data tiering and lifecycle policies to optimize cost and performance. 2. Backup & Disaster Recovery (Veeam & Vault Management): • Oversee Veeam backup architecture to ensure data protection across Azure environments. • Implement Azure Site Recovery (ASR) for disaster recovery and failover solutions. • Configure Azure Vault settings to secure backup storage and maintain compliance. 3. Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): • Set up Ansible automation for storage provisioning and lifecycle management. • Develop Terraform and ARM templates for infrastructure deployment. • Automate storage maintenance tasks using Ansible role management. 4. Operational Technology (OT) Environment Design & Integration: • Design OT data hosting environments with a focus on availability and security. • Provide technical support for OT products and optimize Azure-based OT workloads. • Integrate data hosting solutions with OT operational needs. 5. Security & Compliance for Data Hosting: • Implement RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) & IAM policies for storage governance. • Manage Azure Key Vault for securing credentials and sensitive configurations. • Ensure compliance with Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Azure security practices. 6. Performance Monitoring & Cost Optimization: • Use Azure Monitor & Log Analytics for real-time storage performance tracking. • Analyze workload patterns to optimize storage tiering and access speeds. • Implement governance frameworks to ensure cost efficiency and prevent resource overuse.
