We are currently looking for an Information Security Engineer who will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our systems. The primary objectives of this role include driving the implementation of secure system configuration standards, evaluating and implementing new information security processes and technologies, owning end-to-end solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing security event correlation use cases, and enhancing the efficacy of information security initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a DevSecOps mindset to the implementation process. Qualifications for this role include a minimum of 3 years of experience in information security operations in a Linux-heavy environment, familiarity with IDS/IPS systems, experience with tools like Elastic, Kibana, and vulnerability assessment and management standards, and proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Go, Java, or Perl. Knowledge of security tools, open-source Identity Management, and infrastructure as code tools is also required. Awareness of cloud technologies, networking fundamentals, and experience with web scale production setups would be advantageous.
