Job Description

Implement the SDLC process on different platforms

Knowledge of handing Security tools such as SAST/ DAST/ 3rd party vulnerability scanner

Understanding of Application Tiering and its components

Understanding of Coding language mainly Java, Python, C#

Sound knowledge of Docker / container / Kubernet, environment and its security

Conducting security assessments, architecture reviews, and threat modeling of the application stack.

Demonstrate excellent judgment inprioritizing security efforts to mitigate the appropriate risks.

Work with DevOps and QA to define security monitoring, alerting, and reporting to identify actionable security intelligence

Coordinate external vulnerability scans and penetration testing, and review vendor quality and effectiveness

Perform review / audit of Information Security of IT applications

Perform review / audit the Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing performed by team member

Perform walkthroughs / gain understanding of processes from stake holders

Report issues / observation to the stake holders

Conduct daily / weekly meetings with stake holders to apprise them of the progress

Knowledge, Skills Abilities

Understand business requirements from application architecture setup perspective

Thorough understanding of latest security principles, techniques and protocols, patching and security updates

Ensure security risk mitigation objectives are embedded by design into the development of existing and/or new applications that support product/service lines.

Work with IT architecture, design and engineering peers to align the security architecture

Good understanding of Information Security concepts and assessment techniques

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience in Vulnerability assessment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical security concepts to non technical colleagues at all levels of the organization

Ability to work independently and support multiple stakeholders

OSCP, CEH, CISSP certifications preferred
