Informatica BDM Developer

As an Informatica BDM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica BDM for data ingestion, transformation, and loading. You will collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Working with Hadoop/HDFS, Hive, Spark, or cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to process and manage large datasets is also an essential part of your role. Additionally, you will implement data quality checks, validations, and create detailed documentation for all data flows. Your support in deployment activities and troubleshooting assistance in development, testing, and production environments will be crucial. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica BDM for data ingestion, transformation, and loading. - Integrate data from various structured and unstructured sources into enterprise data lakes or data warehouses. - Optimize mappings, workflows, and data pipelines for high performance, scalability, and fault tolerance. - Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Work with Hadoop/HDFS, Hive, Spark, or cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to process and manage large datasets. - Implement data quality checks, validations, and create detailed documentation for all data flows. - Support deployment activities and provide troubleshooting assistance in development, testing, and production environments. Required Skills & Experience: - 4+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica BDM, PowerCenter, or IICS. - Strong knowledge of ETL development, data warehousing concepts, and performance tuning. - Experience working with Hadoop ecosystems (HDFS, Hive, Spark) or cloud-native data services (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, BigQuery). - Strong understanding of SQL, data modeling, and data governance principles. - Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills (Good to Have): - Experience with Python or Scala scripting for data processing. - Knowledge of Informatica IDQ (Data Quality) or EDC (Enterprise Data Catalog). - Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM) or data governance frameworks. - Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments. Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Informatica or Cloud certifications will be an added advantage.,
