We are hiring engineers to join a distributed team that will support, migrate, integrate, and configure InfoLease (v9 / v10 and related IDS products) implementations to cloud-hosted environments. You will perform configuration and enhancements, and own integrations, data migration, testing and production support. You will also work closely with US product owners, QA, DBAs and DevOps to deliver stable, auditable, and performant lease-accounting systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Support InfoLease v9/v10 production environments: incident triage, root cause analysis, fixes, and SLA-driven ticket resolution.
- Assist/lead data streaming implementations and integrations for enhanced reporting environments.
- Execute InfoLease upgrades and cloud migration activities: prepare migration plans, run data extracts/transforms, validate UCI/UCI layout transfers, verify contract/financial data integrity.
- Implement and maintain integrations between InfoLease and external systems (GLs, tax engines, payment systems, dealer portals) via web services, batch jobs and message queues.
- Develop and maintain scripts and small programs for data transformations, batch automation and scheduled jobs (UniBasic, shell, Python, Java/Groovy as applicable).
- Build and customize reports and exports (Pentaho / SQL / other reporting tools) to meet business and regulatory needs.
- Participate in release activities: code deployments, DB changes, post-deploy verification, rollbacks and runbooks.
- Work with DevOps to containerize or host InfoLease web components, migrate databases (Unidata/UniData, Oracle/SQL Server) and validate performance in cloud environments.
- Write and maintain clear runbooks, documentation, test cases and checklists for conversions and ongoing support.
- Provide on-call/rotation support for production incidents and coordinate cross-team fixes with offshore/onshore peers.
- Communicate with client SMEs, gather requirements for configuration changes, and drive tickets to closure.
Job Requirements
- Hands-on experience with InfoLease (InfoLease 9/10) or other IDS lease systems; familiarity with terminal UI and InfoLease10 web modules preferred.
- Experience with UniBasic / UniData or Pick systems, or demonstrated experience supporting legacy lease/back-office systems.
- Strong SQL skills and experience validating financial data (Oracle / SQL Server / Teradata).
- Experience in one or more programming stacks used with InfoLease: Java / Groovy / Grails / Spring, or UniBasic.
- Production support experience: incident management, ServiceNow/JIRA, RCA, SLA discipline.
- Familiarity with batch job schedulers and automation (Autosys, Control-M, Jenkins) and Linux/Unix fundamentals.
- Good written and spoken English; comfortable coordinating with US-based stakeholders across time zones.
Desired / Nice-to-have
- Experience with InfoLease upgrade/migration projects (UCI layout transfers, UCI defects, GL link, payment batches).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, OpenShift), containerization, or associate cloud certifications.
- Experience building/customizing reports (Pentaho, BI tools) and automated test scripts.
- Knowledge of tax integration (Vertex), general ledger exports, or leasing accounting concepts.
- Prior experience working in 24x7 support or in distributed teams with onshore/offshore handoffs.
Senior-level expectations (for applicants with 8+ years)
- Lead migration tracks, design cutover strategies, and mentor junior engineers.
- Run technical scoping and estimation for conversion workstreams.
- Provide architecture/automation recommendations (CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring).
Role levels & experience guide(for applicants with 8+ years)
- Junior Support / Migration Engineer: 2 to 4 years. Good with SQL, basic scripting, exposure to InfoLease or similar systems.
- Mid-level Engineer: 4 to 8 years. Solid InfoLease/UniBasic or InfoLease10 web experience, integrations, reporting and support background.
- Senior Engineer / Tech Lead: 8+ years. Deep InfoLease expertise, migration leads, cross-team coordination and cloud migration experience.
