An AR (Accounts Receivable) Caller, especially a fresher, is primarily responsible for contacting insurance companies to follow up on outstanding claims and ensure timely reimbursement. They work closely with healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies and address billing issues. Responsibilities: Claim Follow-up: Contact insurance companies via phone to inquire about the status of outstanding claims. Data Analysis: Review and analyze accounts receivable data to understand reasons for underpayments and denials. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of interactions with insurance companies, including call notes and claim statuses. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve billing issues and discrepancies, working with healthcare providers to ensure correct claim submission. Customer Service: Address patient inquiries regarding billing and provide clear explanations. Communication: Communicate effectively with insurance companies and healthcare providers, both verbally and in writing. Adherence to Regulations: Understand and adhere to industry regulations and guidelines.
