Senior Accountant Role Level Level 3 Role Summary The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a range of accounting duties including maintaining the general ledger and subledgers, assisting with audit preparations, assisting with architecting changes to the accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central), performing account reconciliations, manage filings and reconciliations related to United States sales & use tax, and other accounting duties as assigned. They will report to the Controller. Key Responsibilities Handle as primary or backup a range of day-to-day accounting activities including billing and A/R, A/P, and general ledger Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts. Design modifications to the accounting system, including identifying functional requirements, coordinating with key stakeholders, writing stories, working with developers to answer questions, performing QA tests, and documenting where applicable. Research technical accounting issues for compliance Support month-end and year-end close process Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting Manage and comply with local, state/provincial, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings, in coordination with outside accountants, in the US, Canada, and India. Handle United States sales tax filings and ensure they are kept up-to-date Assist with developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls, particularly in the areas of cash, A/R, A/P, and payroll Assist with the annual financial audit and audit preparations Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of noncompliance. Serve as a key point of contact for team members regarding financial transactions Maintain knowledge of current accounting trends, practices, and rules to ensure compliance Supporting and mentoring junior staff as required or assigned Additional accounting duties as necessary Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. 3+ years of accounting experience. Working knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply those practices to accounting for US, Canada, and India based companies. Strong financial analysis skills. Very strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational and time management skills. Advanced level knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently. Significant experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or Dynamics NAV or Navision Experience writing stories for developers strongly preferred Experience in a technology/SaaS company strongly preferred

Role Summary The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a range of accounting duties including owning Accounts Payable & the weekly payment run, recording payroll across our US, Canada, & India branches, maintaining and reconciling the payable & expense related general ledger & subledgers, assisting with month close, and other accounting duties as assigned. They will report to the Controller. This is a senior position in a highly automated accounting department and requires strong analytic abilities & strong technical literacy. This is not a clerk or data entry role. Key Responsibilities Handle as primary, everything to do with A/P, expenses, payroll entries, & bank reconciliations Act as backup to other accounting personnel in a range of day-to-day accounting activities including billing and A/R, and general ledger entries Do everything necessary to complete all assigned month-close tasks by the deadline set each month Post the Aged Accounts Payable Report weekly & complete payment run based on what items are approved by management Reconcile our Vendor Ledger Entries (VLEs) to our Vendors’ statements as necessary, if our records ever differ from theirs. Share this analysis with management and take appropriate action (credit memos, back-posting missed invoices in appropriate accounting periods, discussing disagreements on what is owed with the Vendor in question, etc.) Apply payments and credit memos as necessary to keep the VLEs accurate & clean. Request statements if needed to achieve this. Cultivate a working relationship with our Vendors’ AR departments. Keep communication consistent with internal & external stakeholders in the A/P process. Additional accounting duties as necessary Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required. Significant accounting experience in a senior accountant role or above required, past experience as a Financial Controller or CFO strongly preferred Working knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply those practices to accounting for US, Canada, and India based companies. Strong financial analysis skills. Very strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational and time management skills. Advanced level knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently.
