Job Description You will support senior engineers in the design, testing, and deployment of automation and control systems for industrial projects. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in PLC programming, electrical systems, and the integration of advanced control hardware/software in the field. Key Responsibilities Assist senior engineers with the design and implementation of automation/control systems (hardware and software). Support basic programming and configuration of PLCs and HMIs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.); learn standard programming practices on the job. Help test and validate PLC logic using digital and analog I/Os (DIs/DOs/AIs/AOs), maintaining detailed test records. Perform hands-on tasks including wiring, cable termination, and basic panel assembly . Assist in creating and updating electrical schematics and panel drawings using AutoCAD (or equivalent). Support integration and commissioning of PLCs, SCADA, VFDs, sensors, relays, and other field devices. Contribute to FAT/SAT activities : checklists preparation, test execution, and outcome logging. Provide on-site technical support during installation, commissioning & troubleshooting, always following senior engineers instructions. Maintain accurate documentation : wiring diagrams, software backups, service/visit reports, and maintenance logs. Attend training sessions, shadow senior team members , and proactively learn new tools and industry best practices in automation. Candidate Requirements Education: Diploma/Bachelor's in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering (or allied field). Experience: 13 years in industrial automation, panel wiring, or PLC/SCADA environments. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with PLC programming (any or all of Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi). Understanding of SCADA, HMI, DCS, Control Systems, VFDs, Sensors, and Relays . Basic electrical wiring & panel assembly skills. Ability to read/update technical schematics (AutoCAD or equivalent preferred). Teamwork: Capable of collaborating and receiving guidance from senior engineers and technical staff. Communication: Basic proficiency in English/Hindi for technical documentation and site communication. Learning Attitude: Keen to upskill with on-job training, hands-on tasks, and new technology exposure. Mobility: Willingness to travel for project deployments, FAT/SAT, or site support.
