Industrial Trainee - Audit

Internal Audit at Lowes primarily focuses on value-added operational audits with high visibility to the leadership. Your role involves working closely with the Lead Auditors and project teams to plan, develop, and execute audit testing. You will also prepare inputs for written communications and deliverables using data analytic skills, process analysis, and critical thinking. Overall, your responsibilities will include assisting in audits that evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls managing Lowes" significant risks. Your core responsibilities will include assisting in the SOX 404 assessment, identifying non-compliance with regulations, laws, and standards, developing process mapping, conducting testing for in-scope controls, performing data analysis, summarizing audit findings, and ensuring project timelines are met. You will also be responsible for work paper standards and participate in rotational committee work to gain knowledge and experience in key audit functional areas. This full-time position requires 0-2 years of experience and an industrial trainee eligibility as per current ICAI guidelines. The primary skill required is Internal Audit, while secondary skills in Accounting/statutory audit are desired.
