Position : Senior Executive / Assistant Manager Production Location : Gummidipoondi SIPCOT, Tamil Nadu Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering Experience : 6–12 Years (Preferably in Technical / Industrial / Commercial Textiles) Roles & Responsibilities (R&R): Production Management Plan, schedule, and execute daily production activities for coated fabric lines. Monitor productivity, efficiency, and output against defined KPIs. Ensure optimum utilization of man, machine, and materials. Process Control & Optimization Implement and monitor coating process parameters to ensure consistent quality. Identify process bottlenecks and apply continuous improvement tools (Kaizen, 5S, QCC). Design & Technical Interface Coordinate with design/R&D team for product development or customization. Interpret design drawings and implement technical changes in production processes. Quality Assurance Ensure adherence to quality standards in line with product and customer requirements. Collaborate with QA/QC for root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformities. Team & Shift Management Lead and guide shop floor teams, manage shifts, allocate tasks, and ensure discipline. Conduct training for operators on machinery, safety, and quality standards. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily production reports, downtime logs, and MIS reports. Ensure documentation related to SOPs, process parameters, and audits is up to date. Maintenance Coordination Liaise with the maintenance team for timely machine servicing and breakdown resolution. Provide feedback for preventive maintenance planning. Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to statutory, environmental, and workplace safety norms. Implement safe practices in coating and handling chemicals or solvents, if applicable.
